Today we will continue our discussion of Technology - what it is, where it can be found, and will talk about the collages we will make to demonstrate our understanding that technology is "Anything created by a person to make life easier."
Following discussion, we will wrap up the activity sheets on which the students drew pictures of four pieces of Technology they use each day. They will then get to dig through all of the newspapers, magazines, and advertisements brought in to begin finding pictures to put on collages they will make to represent technology. This activity will definitely carry over into next week's class as it is a LOT of fun!
Assessment
Students will not be formally assessed during this class, however, will earn 10 points for active participation and the usual 5 points for on task and appropriate behavior choices.
